Visiting cards are associated with the people holding the title engraved on the card at time of handwritten date, unless otherwise stated here.
C,1.299: A new Archbishop of Canterbury was chosen in February 1805, Charles Manner-Sutton, who is included here, although it may be the card of the previous Bishop, John Moore.
C,1.304: Lady Sarah Hobart's mother had died by 1813, so the Countess of Buckingham mentioned is presumably her stepmother, Eleanor Eden.
C,1.316: Lists Lady Mary Petre and daughters but uncelar which of the daughters are named as she had five.
