Curator's comments
This is a reversed copy after engraving by Paulus Pontius (Hollstein 141-5), which he engraved after an unidentified painting by Anselmus Van Hebbelynck Hulle. This is a copy after one of the plates of the portrait series 'Dignitaries at the Peace of Münster', for comment see 1871,1111.742.
