- In the series 'Family Ruins' Landy made drawings of the ruins of crofter cottages in Ireland, the artist's ancestral home, using images culled from the internet. He undertook the series while planning his forthcoming outdoor commision at the Museum of the Home, London, scheduled for 2021. As he was unable to travel to Ireland to undertake his planned research, due to the travel restrictions imposed by lockdown as a result of the global coronavirus pandemic in 2020, he instead made drawings from images he found online.
