Artist’s statement:
The eight prints (2019,7092.1-8) were all made in 2019 as part of a project based on the archives of the Foundling Museum (where they were on show until September 1st as part of my exhibition ‘A New Song (To an Old Tune)'.) I became fascinated with the titles and narratives of broadside ballads and they were a very rich source of visual inspiration
