Provenance: Ex Collections J.M. Gray; Sir F. Wedmore; Major HRM Howard. Very rare." With price.
John Christian also retained a page from a Sotheby's sale catalogue dated 26-28 November 1979 in which the print is listed as number 553 as: 'A view in Richmond Park (?) with a fountain on the left. John Christian annotated the page next to the entry "bt from Lott & Gerrish Spring 1981."
Acquired by the British Museum in a card dealer's mount annotated with the price. The sheet has been annotated:
"CD 27 II, L 35 II. Woody Scene in Richmond Park." and "From the J.M. Gray, Sir F.Wedmore. Major HRM Howard Collections."
