- Text from Stephen Coppel, 'Imaging Ulysses: Richard Hamilton', London, BM, published by the British Council, 2002, cat.no.56:
Plates made at Atelier Crommelynck, Paris. Printed at Kurt Zein, Vienna, with one trial proof. Edition of 12, plus two artist's proofs. Published by Waddington Graphics, London
A small edition of twelve impressions was made by printing three of the five plates for Bronze by gold in black. The melancholy mood deepens into pessimism in the monochrome version.
