Curator's comments
This was published by Brooke Alexander Editions, New York. It was printed by Robert Arber at Arber and Son Editions, Alameda, New Mexico in an edition of 35 plus 9 artist proofs. Cordes notes the sequence of printing: once in black from the stone while the grey tone was achieved by transfer whereby 'two freshly printed impressions were registered face-to-face and then pressed together, transferring one image from one impression to the other impression'.
