First page of list of subscribers to 'Rangoon views, and combined operations in the Birman empire', with a decorative illustration at the top; a cloth labelled 'Field Marshal / His Royal Highness / the Duke of York, K.G. / &c &c &c', held by a British soldier on the left, and an Indian soldier on the right, with a tiger in the centre holding the top edge between its teeth; below a royal crest with the motto 'Quo Pax et Gloria Ducunt', with scenes either side, of a European man giving charity to a woman and child on the left, and grieving Burmese men on the right. 1827 Engraved lettering with mezzotint and stipple
