Portrait of Sir Moses Montefiore; three-quarters length seated facing front, looking ahead and slightly to right, left hand on a cane, right holding gloves, with a ring on the little finger, resting on papers on a desk, wearing a dark coat with a double-breasted coat, a pale cravat, beret and fur-trimmed coat; after Richmond; touched unfinished proof before letters.
