The Saint shown full-length kneeling to right wearing a gown which reveals her right shoulder, her hair loose around her shoulders, her hands crossed over her breast and looking upwards sorrowfully and open-mouthed towards rays emanating in the bushes; an open book propped against a skull and ointment jar in front of her; trees behind and mountains and a valley in the background to left; after Jacques Parmentier; reworked state with burin work in hair, prominent tears and rays made longer, plate reduced and title re-engraved.
