Two death's-heads, one representing Hitler with a swastika, the other Britain with a Union Jack, stand over the bound figure of a woman (Mexico) which they threaten with a lance with the banner 'Royal Dutch and Shell'; a fragment from an illustrated journal or flier with text and part of another woodcut on the verso. c.1948

- The artist is identified as Beltran in a monograph on Mexican prints by Norbert Fryd (information from Alison McClean). The subject relates to the international manoevrings over the nationalisation of the oil companies in Mexico by President Cardenas.
