- After the painting by Rubens which was destroyed in Berlin during World War II (Rooses 477).
From John Young's 'A Catalogue of the Pictures at Grosvenor House London, with Etchings from the Whole Collection', published in London, 1820, by John Young, and also sold by G. & W. Nicol, Hurts & Robinson, Molteno & Co, Ackermann and Coolnaghi & Co.
The publication in the BM has been taken apart at an early date and the text can be found in in the library (Pp.6.7), while the 143 plates have been distributed between the masters series of the different schools. The P&D Departmental library also holds a copy of the original catalogue (L.5.14). See also von Erffa and Staley p.211.
