- Elements from this collage, namely Joyce's caricature of Leopold Bloom, hero of his novel "Ulysses", the two female posteriors and the glass of milk, were subsequently incorporated in Kitaj's twelve colour screenprint and photoscreenprint 'The Desire for Lunch is a Bourgeios Obsessional Neurosis or Grey Schizoids', 1965, (R17; Kinsman 15).

Elements in this collage appeared in the print 'The Desire for Lunch is a Bourgeois Obsessional Neurosis or Grey Schizoids' (R17; 1965), shown alongside. They include James Joyce's caricature of Leopold Bloom, hero of his novel 'Ulysses' (1922) as well as the image of two buttocks, possibly taken from a medical textbook, and the glass of milk.
