- Text from Martin Hopkinson, 'Italian Prints 1875-1975', BMP, 2007, no. 28:
Created to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the 'Famiglia Artistica' by Vespasiano Bignami in 1872. He himself had become a member in 1881. A pen and ink print study in reverse is held in a private collection.
