- Roger Hilton's illness led to sleepless nights, when he would write nocturnal notes to his wife Rose, demanding food and art materials. Later published as 'Night Letters', they reveal Hilton's undiminished vitality, despite his suffering. Daler-Rowney are suppliers for artists.
