Plate 14: The Women of Israel Praising Judith; the scene depitcts the triumph of Judith on saving the city of Bethulia, with musicians acclaiming her victory; in the foreground a kneeling child playing a shawm, beside him panpipes (pandean pipes); to the left is a woman playing a lyre and a viol, with two children playing a small kettle drum and a double pipe; behind them are men playing a curved horn, a tambourine, a natural trumpet and cymbals, with a woman playing triangle and a horn; to the right of the central figure is a small choir behind which is a man playing the cymbals and another playing the tambourine; at the top of the steps is a second tambourine player, and to their right in the foreground is an older man playing a curved horn and a child playing the panpipes (pandean pipes); after Jan van der Straet
