Plate 9: The Ark of the Covenant brought unto its Place; The Levites Singing; David leads a procession bearing the Ark of the Covenant into the city of Jerusalem, with men dancing and playing instruments in the foreground; at the bottom left are two children, one playing drum, the other a shawm, beside a man carrying panpipes (pandean pipes), a lute and tambourine; in the centre is a man playing a triangle and a lyre; at the right, two singers and people playing curtals, tambourine, cymbals; in the middle distance is a choir of loud wind instruments including horn and natural trumpet and a double pipe, and in the background are people playing lyre and horns; after Jan van der Straet
