- This is from a set of five stencils by five artists - Dewasne, Deyrolle, Jacobsen, Mortensen, Vasarely - published by Editions Denise René on the occasion of an exhibition of their work at Galerie Denise René, 23 January - 17 February 1953. They were printed by Ateliers Renson, Paris in an edition of 100. See Coppel et al., "Printmaking in Paris: Picasso and his Contemporaries" (1997), no.149.
