- This drawing, recently re-discovered unattributed, was published twice by scholars who knew it only from the photograph when it was included in a sale at Sotheby's 25 June 1970: first by Richard Cocke in his 1984 monograph on Veronese's drawings (no. 139) and again in an article by W. R. Rearick in "Master Drawings", XXX, 1992, p. 146.
