Watson Gordon, and 5 illustrations of scenes from his novel, including "The Udaller's Home--Magnus Troil and his Family", "The Storm, with Mordaunt Rescuing Cleveland", "Norna Performing her Curative Spell on Minna Troil", "The Altercation Between the Pedlar and Cleveland at the Fair of Kirkwall", and "Minna Taking the Pistol from Bunce to Defend Herself and her Sister". Bound together with letterpress titlepage, table of contents, and excerpts from Scott. In original purple cloth boards with gold-tooled title.
