- Curator's comments
- Each drawing is stamped according to the original pencil numbering 1 to 124. However, before acquisition by the BM, nos 11-14, 57, 62-3, 67, 74, 76, and 98-100 were cut out, and there are only 111 drawings in the album.
See Alexandra Wedgwood (with a contribution from Christopher Wilson), 'Catalogue of the Drawings Collection of the Royal Institute of British Architects, The Pugin Family', 1977, no.107. The date "1835" on 1987,0620.1.111 is regarded as a mistake in the catalogue entry.
There is an armorial ex-libris from the RIBA on the fixed front endpaper.
