For the Members of the Royal Association for the Promotion of the Fine Arts in Scotland" 1869; containing 6 prints after various artists illustrating excerpts from Walter Scott's novel, including "The Graveyard--Old Mortality at the Tombs", "Lady Margaret Bellenden in Mause Headrigg's Cottage", "Lady Margaret and Major Bellenden finding Edith on teh Battlements Watching for the Apporach of the Troops", "Major Bellenden Interceding with Claverhouse for the Life of Henry Morton", "The Battle of Bothwell Bridge", and "Morton Awaiting his Death at the Hands of the Cameronians in the Farm-House of Drumshinnil". Bound together with letterpress titlepage, table of contents, and excerpts from Scott. In original brown cloth boards with gold-tooled title.
