Rider's 'Christian's Family Bible', each plate set in ornamental frame and lettered with comments and annotations (originally published in three volumes for the author in London) 1763-1767; depicting scenes from the Old Testament, illustrating the books of Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Judges, Samuel, Kings, Esther, Daniel, Judith; and from the New Testament, the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, the Acts of Apostles, and Hebrews; many plates lettered with dedications to bishops and lords; bound together without titlepage in hardcover. 1763-67
