- Formerly part of the Bagford collection in Harleian Ms. 5947, no.24. This, and other playing card material, was not listed among the transfers from the BL in 1814 and 1900. To judge from the BM stamps on the versos, they were transferred in the 1870s when Willshire was compiling his catalogue of the BM playing cards. None of these items was registered at the time, and they were all given 'U' numbers in the late XXc.
