The print was folded and sent to 'a Monsieur, / Monsieur Pierre Jean Mariette / Secrétaire du Roy, et / Controleur General de / la Grande Chancellerie / Rüe S. Jacques Paris' (written at the back of the print, possibly Zanetti's hand?). At the back of the print is a red wax seal representing a male figure in profile to the right.
