Curator's comments
One of a series of prints after the Carracci's frescoes in the Palazzo Fava, Bologna. The plates are numbered I - XII and show episodes from the legend, and are followed by eight plates, of which this is one, of the 'Termini' that separate each scene of the frescoes. The BM has the complete series (Mounted Imperial).
