- According to Armelhault & Bocher, the series 'Grotesque Disguises' comprised twelve lithographs, and the prints described are lettered with the series title, the print title in both English and French and a reference to publication in London by McLean at 26 Haymarket on 1st January 1829 and in Paris by Giraldon Bovinet, 26 Passage Vivienne.
