- This print is from the 2ème livraison. See also an impression in one of three bound volumes in the Department of Prints and Drawings (1936,0302.14.1-49, 1936,0302.15.1-49 and 1936,0302.16.1-49). In the List of Plates in the volume, the title is given as 'An attelage de porteurs d'eau''.
For further information on the series, including dating, see Curator’s Comment on 1936,0302.14.1.
The IFF also lists this print under no.298, but with Plate Number 35.
The description in Armelhaut & Bocher has: "Gavarni del" followed by "Londres" whereas in the British Museum print there is simply "Gavarni". The rest of the description applies.
