Hetzel) 1842, second part; containing 105 whole-page wood-engravings after Grandville of anthropomorphised animals, and other vignettes within the text including head and tailpieces, together with frontispiece showing a bear holding a sheet with title, a frog unrolling it to a crowd of animals to the right, two birds and a monkey hanging in the back. Including introductory text 'Encore une révolution', 11 stories, and concluding chapter, with table of contents and list of illustrations at the back. Bound in green leather with gold tooled images on spine and cover, a frog and a bird at the front and a bat at the back, with insects at the corners.
