Four scenes; the first, a view of a futuristic aeroport, formed of a small pavilion on the pinnacle of a long column, air-ships and balloons flying in the air above, a passenger gesturing with an umbrella to a departing zeppelin; the second, a candidate at an election, standing on a platform and throwing money into a cheering crowd to secure their votes; the third, workmen fitting immense shutters onto the ridiculously ornate frontage of the shop of a catsmeat man, advertisements and lettering to the windows; the fourth, a room at a futuristic British Museum, various specimens pertaining to late 18th century and 19th century life, including a Whig and a Tory in a case, gibbets, stocks, a cat-o-nine tails, a model of a carriage and pictures of coachmen, visitors being shown the exhibits by a showman; illustration to Cruikshank's "The Comic Almanack 1843" (1843)
