- The album from which this drawing came contained 69 sheets of similar size and all drawn in watercolour sometimes heightened with gouache or gum arabic. The title page to the album depicted a deer and a stag. The title description on a rock face reads 'Wahre Abbildung nach der Natur / samtlicher in dem Baadem Baadischen / Landes Antheil sich befindender / Holz-Gattungen, als: Nadel - Laub - und / Busch - Hölzer, wie auch Staudten - Gewächs / Gezeichnet, und gemahlet durch den / Hochfürstlich Baddsischen Hauptmann / Ludvic Pfleger Ao 1788.
