A tracing/study of a young woman addressed by a small, supernatural figure situated in a rural landscape. The branch of a tree curves above the figure group with further trees and hills suggested in the background. Grass, flowers and mushrooms are indicated beneath them. A flock of sheep proceed from the centre of the composition with those in the foreground depicted in greater detail than those sketched in the background. A tracing for an unidentified print.
