The frontispiece to 'The rose and the lily' is thought to have been the last book illustration completed by George Cruikshank. It was produced after the publication of GW Reid's 'Descriptive catalogue of the works of George Cruikshank.' 1871, therefore it does not have a Reid catalogue number.
