- Date and description based on GW Reid 'A descriptive catalogue of the works of George Cruikshank.' 1871.
One of a number of drawings on tracing paper originally described as 'tracings.' Rather than being tracings of a finished design, many appear to have been working drawings which Cruikshank used to establish a final composition.
