Origines ac causas Rituum, quos Ecclesia, Evangelica cumprimis, in Vitæ Ingressu, progressu, egressu frequentat, evolvens, Subnexo Usu ac Abusu" (Jena, Johann Christoph König and Paul Ehrich) 1705; containing numerous etched plates (some fold-out) by Johann Georg Mentzel illustrating religious rites, customs, and buildings in different parts of the world. With inscribed frontispiece showing an arm appearing from a cloud with scales of justice. Titlepage in red and black with decorative block showing a pelican feeding its young. Bound in leather.
