‘The Iliad of Homer. Translated by Mr. Pope’ (London, Barnard Lintot) 1736, fourth edition, part II of VI comprising of books V to VIII; containing 4 plates, one at the beginning of each book, with titles: ‘Aeneas being desirous to revenge Pandarus…’, ‘Hector coming to Troy…’, ‘Hector being return’d to ye camp…’ and ‘The fight-being again began to ye advantage of ye Greeks…’. Together with wood-engraved head and tailpieces, dedication to King George I by James Stanhope, and essay on ‘Homer’s battels’. Bound in brown leather with tooling on covers, gold tooling on spine and raised bands.

- 1972,U.419-424 are all volumes from the same collection of the Homer's Iliad. All volumes bound in covers with same pattern, each volume containing 4 books. The first two volumes don’t contain publisher’s advertisement.
