"Distractions, par Henry Monnier. To his friend George Cruikshank" (Paris, Paulin; London, Colnaghi) 1832; a book of 6 lithographs, each consisting of mulitple caricature vignettes representing men and women in different social situations (at church, travelling, at leisure, at court etc.). Bound in original title boards with lithographic titlepage embellished with vignette showing dancing man and violinist, inscribed Cruikshank. Monnier's presentation copy to George Cruikshank.
