- The publication date of the prints in this album is unknown. But two details help to narrow the time period to within a decade. On the one hand, one view shows the iron bridge of Fribourg which was built in the 1830s decade. On the other hand, the production details of the publisher include the address 'Neustadt N. 148'. In 1852, Dikenmann moved to 'Rindermarkt N. 353' (see Giorgio Ghiringhelli, Il Ticino nelle vecchie stampe, Bellinzona, 2003, p. 452). So one can suggest that these prints appeared somewhere in the 1840s.
