Book containing 15 unnumbered views of Switzerland, with a frontispiece, a title-page and table of contents, a dedication to Charles de Villers, a map of the Berner Oberland, 12 pages of introductory text by Philipp Albrecht Stapfer, and explanation of the individual prints throughout; bound in blue paper-covered boards, with a label with the title on the spine, Paris and Strasbourg, 1812
Etching and aquatint, with handcolouring, individually titled as follows:
1) Frontispiece with a mountain landscape and the Staubbach falls in the background; in the foreground a stone inscribed with 'Vierzehn Aussichten im Oberlande jenseits Thun gewählt'
2) Topographical map of the Berner Oberland
3) 'Vûe de la Ville de Thoune.'; third state, the artist's signature and dating disappeared by adding aquatint
4) 'Vûe des Environs de Thoun.'; third state, the artist's signature and dating disappeared by adding aquatint
5) 'Vûe du Chateau d'Oberhofen au Lac de Thoune'; third state, the artist's signature and dating disappeared by adding aquatint
