Curator's comments
The publication date of this series is not known. But since it is listed in an advertisement of Birmann & Fils dated 1828 (see curator's comment 1958,0712.3106), a dating about 1825 seems to be a good approximation, considering the fact that Samuel Birmann joined his father's company in 1823.
