Book containing 14 unnumbered views of Switzerland, with a title-page, a dedication to Jacob Samuel Wyttenbach, a travel report throughout and a single plate with 13 uncoloured outline etchings followed by 4 pages of explanation of the individual prints; bound in red paper-covered boards, with gold stamping, Bern
Etchings, with hand-colouring, individually titled as follows:
1) 'Vue sur le Lac de Brientz et le petit Lac de Goldswyl prés de Rinkenberg.'
2) 'Chute du Giessbach au Bord du Lac de Brientz.'
3) 'Chûte du Wandelbach, dans la Vallée d'Oberhasli.'

- According to the title-page, the journey of the three artists took place in 1797. However, two prints (6 and 7) are dated 1796, and one plate (7) is printed on Whatman paper dated 1801 or 1804.
