- This album is a compilation of prints from various series. Nos. 1 to 6 were published in 'Recueil de paysages suisses dessinés d'après nature, dans une course par la vallée d'Ober-Hasly et les cantons de Schweitz et d'Ury', Basel and Bern, circa 1800, see 1958,0712.3057 (1-14). Nos. 7 to 18 appeared in 'Collection de vues remarquables des Alpes de la Suisse', Bern, Wagner, 1789. Nos. 34 to 36 belong to a series of genre studies by Johann Jakob Biedermann, published in about 1810.
