View of the Rhine Waterfallwith some rapids towards the foreground in which is a calm lake; either side of the waterfall are settlements; in the right hand foreground is a tall stone building and a wall in the water; in the centre foreground is a couple conversing on the bank; low mountains in the background; Surrounding this image are circular miniatures of women modelling the costume of each Swiss Caonton.
