View of the ruins of a castle; around it are both coniferous and deciduous trees, and the shadow of a hill behind the trees in the right hand background; in the left hand foreground is a figure dressed in red feeding a goat by hand, and two more goats to the left of him; in the right hand foreground are some cows and sheep reposing on the ground.
