The Assumption of the Virgin with Saints; above, the Virgin is borne aloft on a cloud by angels; below, centre, her tomb is filled with lilies and roses, to left, St John the Baptist and St Thomas, who reaches up to grasp the Virgin's girdle which she is lowering to him; to right, St Nicholas; beyond, a rural landscape with a fortified building. 1590 Engraving
