- Lit.: N. Turner, 'Italian Drawings in the BM, Roman Baroque Drawings', London, 1999, I, no. 397:
After the fresco in S. Luigi dei Francesi, Rome (Spear, 1982, II, pl. 152). This and 1950,1111.34 belong together, and are close in style to Pietro da Cortona (q.v.), though the coarseness in handling would seem to rule out his actual authorship.
