'Illustrations of the public buildings of London: with historical and descriptive accounts of each edifice. [...] by J. Britton, F.S.A., &c. - and A. Pugin, architect. Vol. I' (London: J. Taylor, J. Britton and A. Pugin) 1825; containing 67 plates showing churches, theaters and other buildings of London, with elevations, plans interiors and outside views, etched by various printmakers, and also including tipped-in plates; with wood-engravings within the text. Together with bookplate of Sidney Young, half-title, illustrated title-page by H Winkles after J Britton, dedication to king George IV, preface, table of contents and index; a small advertisement for this book pasted at the endpaper. Bound in black half-leather, with marbled covers, raised bands and gold tooling at the spine, marbled endpapers and edges. Etching, wood-engraving
