- Curator's comments
- Beaumont printed this linocut in two different colour variants. This first version is printed in pink-beige, dark and light green; a second version is printed in mauve, dark and light olive green on soft cream thin laid oriental paper (Dickson, p. 86). The title of this print is often shortened to 'Grog'. The print was included in 'Colour Prints and Contemporary Oils' (exh. cat.), Redfern Gallery, London, 1 June - 29 July 1933, cat. no.2.
