- From a series of fifteen woodcuts (including initial letters) illustrating 'Parisiennes sensations', musings on the months of January, February and March 1891 written by Emile Goudeau and published in magazine 'La Grande Dame' in 1895. The woodcuts were also published together in an in-octavo edition.
In this early state the initial letter P is visible; in later states it was removed and replaced by the title, 'Parisiennes sensations'.
