Bound volume of 'Nature Pictures', containing thirty wood-engravings of landscapes and rural views with figures and animals by Robert Paterson after John H Dell, published in 1872 in London by Frederick Warne and Co., and in New York by Scribner, Welford, and Armstrong; Title-page, Preface and Contents page in letterpress, with floral headpiece, two tail-pieces, and publisher's emblem; prints interleaved with pages lettered with titles; binding of tooled red cloth, decorated with gold and black floral and leaf designs; gold lettering of 'Nature / Pictures / J. H. Dell.' repeated on the spine, together with publisher's name 'W. Warne & Co'.
